I live in Panama the country and i love fly fishing, i go to the gatun lake and i always use this popper fly that works pretty well with the small ones but i want to catch a big one 3 pounds or more because I'm leaving panama to live in spain and i only have one weekend to go fishing so what type of fly do you recommend me to make the big ones go out?

Catching peacock bass HELP!!!!!!?
I fish in Miami canals. There is a spot where there are always the same male and female peacocks. One is larger than the other. I have tried live worms minnows, artificial worms minnows, spoons, ans spiner baits.NOTHING not even a nibble. they only folow it for about a second or two. I have also tried top water org with rattling feet.Any suggestions????
